I get a pdf file and open only in Adobe reader,
I need to print part of the file, What can I do?

unfortunately, the newer PDFs can be opened and sometimes edited in the newer versions of illustrator, Photoshop and CorelDRAW- but simply won't open in older versions of the software- or you can view in Adobe Reader.

If you want to send it over, I have all the latest stuff, so I should be able to open it and possibly save it down to something you can use.

Open a net blank file in Adobe Illustrator and go to "file>place and select your PDF file.
While it's still selected go to "object>expand appearance" and make sure the "link" box is checked and check turn fonts to outlines also. You should be able to move or delete whatever you want for there.
