I kinda like the new look.... The old one was an interesting mix of upper & lower case!
I think Wendy's was named after Dave Thomas's daughter.

I think the new logo is good. It is a clean design. I like how it kept an updated element of the old logo.
Wendy is Dave Thomas' daughter.

"Wendy" doesn't look like that anymore. She older and well...larger.

Seen this awhile now & I'm not impressed at all to me casual looks cheap & a image of cheap to me.
A improvement or upgrade yes is good idea, making it simpler oh yeah good on what ya have that has worked...Or if total new a upgrade not downgrade. Just my 2 cents

Personally, I like the old logo.........much more than the new one.......No reason at all. I just like it.
Everybody has a reason for changes in a logo....I respect that.

P.S.---Not pretending to be a critic, just an old timer who is attached to old logos......Too many stories connected with these old logos ( for me ).

I like it but, I just had to make it into a more script than and hybrid casual/script... Personally I would like to rework the script by hand lettering it and scanning and cleaning it.

Why are the "W" and "e" connected...it looks funny to me...why is the apostrophe a lighter color than the script...it's ok but I'm not crazy bout the new one.

Maybe the "Script" letter is supposed to look like letters made from squezzing out a plastic ketchup bottle. I could see the boardroom meeting now. Everybody is eating Wendy's. As they are trying to decide on a new logo, one of the guys jokingly grabs the ketchup bottle and draws out Wendy's. With salted, greased fingers, he holds up his creation. Everybody applauds, it becomes the new logo.

Well I think they had to get rid of the word "Hamburgers" as their Pink Slime Patties doesn't qualify as food any longer...
Plus I think Wendy is a little to skinny.. She really needs to bulk up a little to more realistic in these days of Fast Food Obesity.

I'm with you, Alicia. Goofy stuff like that happens everyday.
Personally, I like the new "girl" fine, but not the lettering particularly.
Incidentally, in the new Wendy's commercials, the Wendy girl looks a good bit like this one.....even the really red hair.

I'm with Dale. New girl is fine. The script no so much.

girl good, script screwy ...
how about that new arby's logo ... and don't even bring up sonic and JCP
Posted by Glenn Taylor (Member # 162) on :
JCP sucks.
Arby's screws up. The new font doesn't match the hat.
Sonic? Hadn't noticed.
The new Twitter logo is just Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog on his head with a beak.
