This year was no different than all others...a complete regeneration of art cells!
But this year came with a wee surprise for me that made it go way over the top!
Standing with me are John Oldham, (host of one of the first letterhead meets held in the US, Waco Texas) and one of the most prolific engraving artists in the USA today, Otto Carter.
While there, he treated us to a design class in scroll development, the same methods used on fire trucks and every other place where you see this kind of ornamentation. You can see more of his work including a derringer he did for Oldham on his website...
