My daughter sent this photo today from the Higher Vision music festival. I looked at the lineup last week and didn't recognize any names except Burning Spear and Stanley Mouse. I told her about Stanley Mouse designing most of the old Fillmore posters, as well as the ubiquitous Grateful Dead skull and roses and she should try and meet him if possible.
Jessica said they had a long conversation and he wants to come to a Letterhead meet.....

He should head over to the meet at Percell's since it's in his neighborhood.
PS. If Jess talks to Mouse, tell him to bring David Best with him.

Did he do any of the Journey albums? BTW I agree with Neil. You have a very beautiful daughter.

Stanley Mouse most famous image, might be trademarked by someone else but this was his from the very beginning

Thanks Neil and Charles (and happy birthday)
I definitely agree my daughter is beautiful, but it goes a lot deeper. She is probably the most disciplined, focused person I know. She runs marathons, coaches Special Olympics, volunteers for the Cancer Society and Red Cross and is extremely loyal to her friends. She lettered in 4 sports in high school and was on a national champion fast-pitch softball team. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and she lives life to the fullest. Jessica and Rick Sacks have become good buddies since she moved to San Francisco and he's taken her under his wing (thanks Rick)
She just returned from Peru, where she did a 5 day trek on the Inca trail to Machu Picchu. She's done yoga retreats in Yosemite, lived in Spain, spun fire in Hawaii, gone to surf camp in Costa Rica and speaks fluent Portuguese and Spanish. The kid amazes me on a regular basis. OK, I'll quit bragging now.......
maybe.

Sonny, you have a one in a million daughter there, I guess you were quite a role model.

Bill, I appreciate your comments, but I can't take credit for any of her accomplishments - she left me in the dust a long time ago. Can't wait to hear what her next adventure will be.......

wow- your daughter is very busy, which is a good thing-- it may keep some of the riffraff loser boys away from her, I don't think most guys could keep up with her;)

And during that back east swing that Ed Roth, made, I met him through my older brother who was a headman in the Outlaws M.C. at the time. Ed offered me a job on the spot when he saw my portfolio. I turned down the offer and did not want to move a family from Indianapolis to L.A. at the time (around 66').Not much I would offer of his character at the time. Heavy drugs...
