With the price changes in cedar over the past few years I am trying to get a current price on sandblasted cedar. This is for a double sided sign. What are some of you charging per square foot?

Generally? $275 plus $100/sq' X 1.85 if 2 sided. So, a 3' x 3' would be $1175, or $2170 for 2 sides. This would include a reasonable pictorial .... but no-art ot just a silhouette would be $10/sq.' less. Carved appliques .... gold leaf ... domed borders .... all that stuff is extra. Usually, if over 32" high, I go to 3" cedar to minimize cupping. I add about 10% for that.

Wayne, So from what I can tell the price is $100 per sq.ft. for cedar but do you figure in thickness of cedar blank and also if it is double sided?

Jeff, I charge 70% more for two sides.
Sorry about that; all of the prices are for redwood and cedar. Prices vary with complexity and features. Here is a revision.

I've been sell single sided @ $65 sf Double sided @ $110 sf. My shop is set up so these are quick for me. plus all the extras like cut out raised letters, carved appliques, gold leaf, posts, delivery & istallation. I use redwood here in So Cal

RE-VISITED, How about 2" Cedar routed and custom paint? I usually charge about $125 per square ft.

buckle up, just saw my cedar supplier and if you are in the states there is a possibility of new tarrifs that has the prices going up

Why would there be a tariff if it comes from the US or Canada?
