Canadian question I suppose- does anybody know has the George Brown Signmaking program shut down? Or has it moved? Or is there such an animal anymore?

I got in touch with the college. The woman said she has been there 4 years and never heard of the program. So is there no signmaking programs in Canada at all anymore?

I'm pretty certain you already know how to make signs!

Doug Downey taught the course at George Brown, then they closed it down. Coincidence? hhmmmmmmm

Yes Deri it merged with a generic graphics program about 10 years ago. However I don't think they put much effort into teaching sign specific skills.

A few years ago Niagara College in Welland put a sign program in place. I haven't heard anything about it since the initial launch. It's pretty hard to get a teenager intersted in a college program that leads to actual physical labour!
