Very nice Kevin. Tell us a little about it. Is the gold gilded?

I have never used smalts before, but man it does so much for the sign. Nice Job! It is smalts is'nt it?

It's got to be. I love smalts backgrounds. Add $2.50 a square foot and you have a very long lasting background since the glass will not fade. I've done several in a lot of different colors.

Thanks for kind words. Yes it is 23k Gold Leaf. The background is Smalt. I think I used about 5-6 pounds. I also added some Mother of Pearl to give it some flavor. I used 15 pound Sign Foam, routed the Prismatic letters seperate then glued them in place.
I opted not to paint the border because I liked the natural relief.

Lovely work. It has style and "pop". What's the size?

My guess based on the lamp shadows and the 4" siding it is 4 x 8. Do I win? I think there was a hint in the title.
