I was wondering what a working Gerber 4B with 30 fonts, all the manuals & software is worth. Opportunity may be knocking.
Just curious.

And compare that to what would it be worth with a Cad-Link card

About 2 years ago, I purchased a 4b in great working order for $300.00 plus shipping (no sortware). Just recently, I was able to get an LMK card for $100.00. They are not worth much dollar-wise but the machine itself is worth it's weight in gold for cutting sandblast stencil.

Why sell for that Nikki. Surely as a standby machine it would be worth more than that to you. I seldom use mine, but switched it on Saturday after six weeks non use and turned out 700 euros worth of labels. Love the way they can sit for weeks and switch on with no cleaning needed

I only need it for printing white on clear. It is more of a hassle to keep everything around for the small order I can get printed from Stouse or locally for less than my T&M. The quality of the Edge and the Mimaki aren't even in the same ballpark. I really don't need a stand-by machine. I have such colleagues here in town that if my machine went down, they wouldn't hesitate to print my stuff on their machines. Besides, Midwest would have a loaner to me that afternoon if needed. I believe I have a copy of Omega in a box somewhere:) I have an HS 15 swivel plotter to go too...
