-Just discovered Ronan does not make sun yellow anymore (neon/ron-glow) AND they have water based that is supposed to be okay outside. I know I could use one-shot because this is Michigan, but if the water based Ronan has time to dry - anyone know how it holds up? Are there any suppliers of paint I should know about? I have used Wensco and NGlantz but paint in stock is getting harder to get. -help?

Try Hamilton Marine. Day Glo brand is better, but an oil base. The difference in holding up, compared to One Shot and the water based stuff is definitely worth the effort. I order four gallons at a time and it generally takes a week to get shipped to my door. Hamilton is very responsive and the best price I ahve found. I ask that they shake it and date it on the can lid, to know which is the freshest. Try them. You will like to difference.
It seems Sun Yellow is not as popular as Chartreuse (greener). Just add a little red or orange to it, but not much.

I use cel-vinyl it's about $80 a gallon but goes a long way you can thin it almost 50% w/water and comes off easily with ammonia in water, dries quickly too
comes in smaller sizes too

Grrrrr I use alot of Sun Yellow in Ronan.. as for water base nope they fade to fast and not as bright you have to UV clear coat them but since I now do that on oil base even, because I paint in shop on vinyl then install it helps for no drips to touch up or layout lines seen. Thanks for the heads up.

I have to write a window tomorrow and have just run out of acrylic flourescent dayglo paint. Off to the suppliers I go, $55 for 1 litre! (qtr gallon) Maybe I'm getting old but I remember buying it for $18 a can. It's getting harder and harder to even get specialist paint anymore as it is. Oh I forgot to say, that was "trade" price. Retail was $75!
