The way we promote our business has certainly changed in a dramatic way for us. Facebook and our blog are both wonderful ways to promote our business and the things we do. Our current three month project was won because of the blog on our site without question.

We approach facebook and our blog in a very business like approach. We do not do the friend thing nor post idle chatter. It is all business, done in a professional, upbeat and friendly manner. The sole purpose of our facebook presence is to send visitors to our website. I post a short story with pictures to the blog and then a one liner and single picture on facebook with a link back to our web page.

The single most important key is to post regularly. I do updates three or four times each week. We have found that our customers LOVE to follow their projects online as they go through production. They in turn send their friends and business associates to the blog and website as well. Our blog now garners in excess of 1,400 hits per week on average and it continues to grow.

I LOVE my Facebook page. [Smile] And I have the best followers ever!

Facebook is just one of the best ways to communicate to large groups at a time. I can't keep up with comments on my blog any longer so I invite the masses over each week. It's not only good PR, it's just good for biz.

It sure is a lot easier to add updates to our FB page rather than our website.
