I ask that everyone remember my daughter in their prayers. She found out this week that she has breast cancer. She is only 37 years old and of course she is very scared. I have been taking her to Winston-Salem NC for test and we are waiting to hear what their plans are for her. She had hoped to have another baby in the next year or so and she is very upset about that. Thank goodness she does have a 2 1/2 year old. Thank you for letting me vent and asking for your prayers.

Done here too. And don't settle for one doctor's opinion. A guy in my bowling league told me his wife had breast cancer and it was in her lymph nodes. They wanted to do a complete mastectomy. She went for another opinion, they started treatments and she just got the word that they cannot detect any cancer in her and they didn't have to remove her breasts. There are successful battles being won. Don't give up.

Good luck.

Cynthia,

My sister went through that and wished she would have found Cancer Treatment Centers of America sooner; it is a wonderful place with holistic approaches as well as traditional.

My prayers are with you... I have a daughter that is also 37 to be 38 this year. Take care.

Sending many prayers and hugs! I am a 7 year survivor...and feel very blessed! She CAN do it!

If you or your daughter want to talk, feel free to contact me. That is what got me through sometimes...is talking with someone that has gone through it.

Stay strong, and stay positive....I will be cheering you on!

Jack, I am so sorry to hear about your son. I too buried my 26 year old son all most 7 years ago. Our daughter is all we have left. Pat, thanks for your messages here and private. Thanks to all of you for praying for her. I am going to just put it in God's hand. He will not give s more than we can handle. Thanks to all again.

From the Bible, Psalm 30:2 Oh Lord my God, I cried unto thee and thou hast healed me. Knowing this keeps my mind from being concerned about my situation. I hope it also gives comfort to you and your daughter.
