Last Dec., someone lamented that they felt like a Circus Side Show because they were still carving signs by hand instead of using a CNC. (BTW he does carve beautiful signs)

Anyway..............I was contacted last fall and asked to demo my carving skills at a lumber and building materials trade show. I asked what they wanted me to carve? They said a totem pole.......I said, how about a sign AND and totem pole. BINGO!!!!!

So, I'm taking my side show to foxwoods MGM Grand for 4 days......ALL expenses paid....while I work on their totem sign.

The design...

The parts......

 -

The mian sign done (CNC carved, solid acrylic stains, clear deck preservative and gold leaf on western red cedar) 4' tall and 62" wide.

Have a great week everyone.......I will! [Big Grin]

Looks good Joe. Just don't let them pay you in chips. It's too easy to lose them back that way.

Perhaps, if they pay the bar bill, you need a group of professionals to evaluate your work????
Enjoy

Great work Joe, I think the people in Alaska will be calling on you. Just remember to do your drinking after hours,a slip of the knife could be serious.
