There are two guys who I want to honor today as wonderful men! We talked to Don last night and he is at DisneyWorld in Florida so we know HE'S having a good time! We are celebrating too!! We went to Springfield yesterday to accept the Governor's Hometown Award for volunteerism in our state. It honors towns for things that they do to help their communities. It was a great experience to hear what some towns do to help out! The silver cup winning town organized a day before school started to give kids supplies, clothes, shoes, bookbags etc. so that they can start school and have what they need. This town had 48% unemployment so this WAS a big deal for their kids. Anyway, Pontiac was nominated for all of you walldogs coming here and beautifying our town. We got to go to the Governor's mansion for our cookie and punch and photo taken with the plaque. Today we are taking the afternoon off and going to buy something for the dude and go out to eat. I love you Bill and I count myself VERY lucky to have you in my life and wish you the best on this special day! Happy birthday!!!! XOXO
