Comments: I\'m an arts reporter with the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle and am writing a story about the many murals that have gone up in this region recently. I\'d like to talk with a Walldogs member who could comment on whether this high level of activity is typical nationwide. I\'ll be working today (Friday Sept. 24) and Sunday through Tuesday from 2:30 to 10 p.m. Please E-mail or call me. - Stuart Low

As usual when we get a message on the walldog site, we contact people in the area of the message but if no one is interested, we post it here. Anyone want to contact this guy and talk about your experience with this?

I can't understand why no one wants to talk about one of the best events that take place each year.
It is the most fun and rewarding experience. I for one can not understand why we do not get more coverage from the media because we are doing a public service volunteering.

I just don't know enough about the murals going up in that area to comment on it. It seemed to me that he was looking for some sort of comparison between what was going on locally to what we have been doing with our movement.

Bill, give him a call. This is in your area and I'm sure you would have a wealth of info to share with him. Acually we thought of you when it came in but we didn't have a phone # or e-mail address...I should have thought to look on here for you signature line.

Mural work is limited in the Rochester-Syracuse area. Not sure why.....
Some of the older cities do have some fine old ghost signs...

I would be happy to talk until he tells me to shut up. More people should know about walldogs and all the good they have done. Don't you think the people who were instrumental in organizing the big events would be the ones to do the talking? If not, I am still available.
Bill
