I've had to go back to a full time engineering job the past couple of years now and do signs, etc. part time. (I'm bummed about it but ya gotta pay the bills...)
Anyway, I've had the letterville website as a bookmark I open DAILY to keep my mind active and my finger in the pot. A week or so ago I got a big banner across my screen that said ACCESS DENIED! The reason... "Pornography"!!! I can't even believe it! I've never seen anything like that on here and everything I do see is incredible "Works of ART"!

I don't have this issue since my boss is pretty cool (me ; ) but here is a link to a proxy gateway of sorts to get around firewalls and such that filter for content...I guess they could blacklist this one too, but it should get you out into Letterville. Just use it for good and not evil

Curtis. The truth is that I still consider OP a friend. We go back years. I've been to his home at least twice. He's not a conformist and very opinionated. Guess what? I'm the same!
Most of you have met us in person. We've been involved in Letterheads since 1983. This website has been here since 1995. That's 15 years. Unlike magazines and your usual website, we choose to share our lives with all of you. We know all your real names and have been lucky enough to get out there and mingle.
You know me well Curtis. You know I have lots of views regarding politics, religion and what we call "Dirty Old Man" stuff. I'm not embaressed or shy about my thoughts, but I don't discuss them here in Letterville. This is not about those areas of my life.
OP was given every opportunity to remain here with us. All I asked was that he respect the House Rules. There were 2 parties involved in this particular political ****ing match. I talked to both and asked for a simple agreement to respect our house rules. Both were angry at me. One agreed eventually, but OP is one stubborn nut and made a decision to leave.
I know that you, Si and several others from the old Letterville Chat still talk to each other daily. You already know everything I have talked about here. Please tell Joe he is missed here and welcome to return anytime he chooses. All I ask is two simple things.
1. He refrains from discussing Religion and Politics while in Letterville.
2. He refrains from personal attacks on others.
If you guys miss OP as much as I do, I urge you to cut and paste this post so he can read it. Then pickup the phone or use to e-mail to urge him to stop being such a spoiled brat and get back home.
As far as this pornography thing, I have no idea what that is all about. Lots of juicy stuff in many of our closets, but my lips are sealed.
