We have know each other for years on the internet and I have had the pleasure of meeting him in "real life" several time on my trips to USA. Even attended one of Fred's Meets in OK with him and our wives. I talk to him almost every day on Skype.
A gentle arab giant, the old "fart" is a best mate. Old as dirt. In fact he still still uses a chewed stick dipped in charcoal on cave wall. I'm a little younger and progressed to Bushie^ style ochre on walls.
We were both brought up in the self taught "school of hard knocks". We both have 30 y/o brains writing checks on bodys more than twice that age. The checks usually bounce and the interest is crippling next day.
I would not be in the comfortable position I am today without his advice in the past. We both enjoy passing on our years of knowledge and experience.

Thanx Jon, Liddy and I also have had the pleasure of meeting Si and his lovely wife a couple of times. Sorry I missed his birthday but I would certainly wish him a belated birthday now. Si is one of the finest in every way.
