The signature, "Kafka" in free script, appears to be about an inch wide, or less. He uses his No. 3 scroll brush and the thing is a marvel. I'm wondering what you all wd use for something like this, or perhaps a Helviticaish typeface that small.
Spelcheck underlines "helveticaish" but it's a perfectly good word which i just made up.

For really small lettering, I use a no. 4 brown quill, with about 1/3 of the hair cut off by spinning it lightly on a razor blade, right at the ferril. I also have some really small riggers in my kit for fine detail (highlights, hot spots and tight inlines) on airbrush renderings.
Everytime I look at Kafka's work, I'm amazed... It isn't really pinstriping, it's almost like it's own artform.. Very floral, flowing and graceful.

I use an 18/0 Loew Cornell liner. I like a very subtle signiture.
I really like Alan Johnson's sig, so detailed and yet taseful.
A lot of folks sign their name on the line...the actual pinstripe line.
I can remember seeing one guys work, from somewhere in Texas, did a lot of BMW's and Mercedes. His signiture was a large as the dealer imprint.
Then you have guys like Dewayne Connot who can letter the Gettysburg Address on the head of a pin
I've watched Alton Gillispie do miniscule lettering using one corner of a large ( like a 16 or bigger ) quill.

I'm not a pin striper, but when I sign my name I normally just use whatever I've been lettering with and turn the quill sideways and use one edge.

Great Video, I also watched some of his other videos.. what struck me is maybe I'm being a little too particular with some of my own work.. on his first Video and his second even though he uses a grid each side is not perfect mirrors of each other, but it still looks fantastic!

I use a 2/0 Alan Johnson Signature brush when doing small signatures on most jobs. The 4/0 comes out when I tag the bikes.
