He's a good guy that left me simple directions "go off on it" and "go easy on me" that's fair enough for me .. I gave him 5 hours for $500... It was actually a simple fun job for a change... Thanks guys !

wow, that's a lot of LONG lines (in not a long time)... very impresive

I have refined my technique.. I wear a glove photo technicians wore...with fingers cut out.. This allows my hand to slide without the mess of chalk.. I use 3/4 3m 233 tan masking tape as a guide... (the texture of the tape gives me the right feel)... And lastly a quality brush, I use a Davinci 700 long liner for all my stripes, and a Scharff 2110 liner for scrolls.... This combined with the right viscocity makes it a breeze..

PeeWee's work is second to none and I still have a micro signature on my rear window from years back Posted by Gonzalo (Peewee)Curiel (Member # 3837) on :
Thanks Joey and Neil..

Good work, Peewee, but can I say that to me, the scrolls you have under the doorlocks look like they would be better if flipped front-to-back; so that the longer trailing bits flow 'behind' the bulk of the design, rather than 'into the wind'.
I'd also like to see the design behind the side window 'attached' to a panel line for consistency, a bit like the door design sort-of joins or sits on a long line.
(I'm always looking to see what would improve on things...-no offense intended!) (edited to add I think I'd like it a bit more if there was a bit more 'refinement', or a bit less bulk to the designs)

Great job! Ah that striping on the frame behind the wheel musta have been fun,,,not! If there's a blank spot on a Lowrider, "Es gttoa be stripped Vato".

I actually did those and the laying out of the design with masking tape the night before. The 5.5hrs was pulling lines & scrolls only ..,

Nice job
I would love to get a chance to do something like that. Low riders/hoppers are rare indeed in these parts and the owners tend to be pretty conservative when it comes to paint work.

The stripes are sure nice, but I don't get the golf-cart wheels on a real car!!

I don't know anything about pin striping but that is really beautiful. Very fuild. I like the way the lines come down the panel and reverse back. Really sweet Peewee!

Thank you to all... I just wonder where the groceries go since the trunk is full of batteries and Hydraulic pumps... I do know the front end gets 52" of air between the tires and the asphalt! What ever floats your boat (or hops yer car anyway!)
