I found a Letterheads Magazine from 2002 that showed some work from there. Does anyone know or have heard of this School? Thanks

I've heard of it. Down through the years, FAS occasionally approached me to sponsor someone on one of these courses but I never got involved.
They also had a course that included some signwriting with a painting course

There is one in the city and one on the outskirts.
I went to a L'head meet there in 2003.
Other people on here probably have more info, and pictures.
It was a neat school, there were little cubicle rooms where the students could practice graining and I think wallpapering.
The one teacher helped us by cutting panels.
Hopefully Miles C. can chime in.
Love....Jill

Kevin,

FAS is where I started my signwriting journey way back in 1989,Jerry Fitzgibbon took this big bird under his wing and gave him a flight path to the art of signwriting.
There has been a few detours along the way and the odd crash landing, but my compass has remained true to the craft.
Noel McKenna,an Instructor in FAS (now retired)was a huge help also,he knows everything about paint and substrates and application and lettering.

Thank you for all the information. It is nice to see they are still active in keeping the Craft alive. Does anyone have any pictures?
