Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone would happen to know where I could purchase aluminum break away sign posts, 2" square, 10 feet long. I have a customer who requested them and have not had any luck finding them.

Thanks!

You might want to double-check....I don't think most of those break-away posts are aluminum..

I will make a few phone calls monday morning with the leads you guys gave me, and see what the specs are on the posts available. I appreciate the replies...thank you!

I thought those posts were usually galvanized steel.

Yes Bill, all the break away posts I've ever seen were steel. This is new to me too.

I don't see why a custom aluminum sign fabricator can't machine a weak point into a post at the designated ground level. This has to have come up before now.
