Thanks Joe, but what I'm looking for are the kind with the graphics embedded like they have at state parks. These are custom made. I don't know the process or much about them.

Jean, are you speaking of someone to do the complete process with gelcoat, chop and color?

Joey, Yes, there are a couple of companies I found through Google that make these - Pannier Products in Pa. and Sunsyne in Tenn. I have never heard of either company before. I would rather get a referral from someone here who has experience working with a similar company/product.

We've used a lot of Fiberbrite and other brands of FRP panels over the last fifteen years. Can't get them anymore unless I buy them by the pallet. They have a good assortment of colors too. Our suppliers just didn't sell enough to stock them any more.

We use either iZone Imaging (a Wilson Art company) or Fossil Graphics for applications like this.

Both are high quality prints embedded under exterior plastic laminate (much like countertop material, except with your file printed, not fake granite). The resulting sheet looks just like a piece of "formica". If you want, they can bond this to phenolic resin, which weighs a ton and is as strong as you'll need, up to 1/2" thick.

We use it in interpretive displays in the woods or in tourist areas.

They are not cheap but they are on of the longest lasting ways to get a print.

Hi Jean,

I have used Crystal Graphics, Pannier, & Fossil Graphics in the past. I have now switched to HPL panels from Izone and I have been very happy.

Get a sample from Fossil or Izone of a 12 head printed HPL panel and compare it to a Fiberglas embedded. You will never use Fiberglas again.

You will be able to show the client a big difference with the samples.
