I feel bad that I haven't been on the BullBoard much lately, it's been quite a whirlwind ride over the last couple of years! I wanted to share a post on my blog that I made today, however...
As many of you know Letterville played a big part in EstiMate's beginnings and I'm eternally grateful. I made it a point to link back to the BullBoard in the post, and I wanted to drop by and also say a personal thank you.
Enjoy!

Mark, you're entirely too young to have a kid in college. Tell him to get his butt in gear and finish his website so we can see some of his work!

Glenn, you are so right! ;-)
I wish he would finish his website -- in the meantime I'll try and build some google juice for him.
Thanks to you, too, my friend! I really appreciate the insights and ideas you've given me over the years as to how to make this thing fly.

Mark,
Great story...I haven't read it all yet, but will go back and catch up on the details.
You are truly the American success story and have produced a tremendous aid to our craft. I use mine every day.
And it has always been special that I can call you a friend (and your Mother also, even though we see politics from different angles).
It's good to see you back here. Drop by more often.

Mark has been gracious enough to donate an EstiMate software to each of my Letterhead meets. Thanks so much.

@Raymond: thanks for the words! I'm glad you've found EstiMate so useful in your shop, that means a lot to me considering you've always been one of my sign heroes. It means a lot to me too that we're friends.
@Donald: I will keep them coming! You're very welcome. I'll try to make it to your next one, I'd love to come to a meet.

Hi everybody,
Mark sent me a link to this thread and it's so good to see your faces. I'm all but retired now, and in the position to take on some work, but not have to rely on it for survival, and though it makes me feel ancient I'm glad to have a bit of breathing room to paint some pictures, take photos and cook soup for the homeless, which I did yesterday.
I ran across this photo on a board where I post photographs, and I thought of you and that you'd get a kick out of reconstructing what might have happened here.
I have no idea if this even works as a link, and I realize I all but forgot how to post here.
It's been a long time, but I remember all of you with great fondness.
Myra

It's great to here from you again Myra. I miss your spirited posts of bygone years. It was such a pleasure to meet you in person. Mark has always been one of my heros. A classy guy with tons of enthusiasm and talent. Estimate has filled a critical roll in my shop. A professionally prepared quotation goes a long way in projecting a positive image. Consistancy and speed in pricing and the ability to make changes on the fly are crucial to the modern business model. Cheers Mark and Myra.

Myra, so good to hear from you..this is one place I stop in now and then when life gives me a tiny breath of air! Hope you are doing well. For the longest time, I never knew you were Mark's mom until after the 4B thing a couple years ago. Take care, Deb
