Hey everybody. I know this is a long shot, but I figured I'd give it a try.
Back in the late 70's to early 80's, my grandmother and her boyfriend had a shop in the Florida Keys. I believe it was around mile marker 88.
Anyway, the shop was called A&D Signs and the gentleman's name was Dick...sorry I don't know his last name. He would probably be in his 80's if he's still alive.
Anybody ever know of him or his shop? Just curious as to what happened to him.

Hey ask if they know a signpainter Gary! He used to travel through every year and my dad got to know him really well. I have a couple stripers of his. That is the time I lived in the Keys with my dad in the summer of 72. Gary hadn't been through and they needed their pirate ship sign for Jolly Roger Trailer Park located at (mile marker 159) repainted.
I had no clue to use quills but only had used fine artist's brushes and fitches for the past 10 years then. That is when I decided I was really screwing up and put my mind to one day learn it since I was upset I couldn't do that.
Say hi to Renee, and let her know my daddy lived in Grassy Key 8 miles north for 35 years! I really truly miss the Keys, they are so gorgeous and full of underwater beauty too.
