I have a project calling for digitally printed text, cut to shape, and applied to a wall that has been painted with Benjamin Moore latex paint (that has a matte finish).
I intend to use Orajet 3651 as the digital media...has anyone had any sucesses or failures they'd like to share?
I'm worried the vinyl will peel or not stick well.

You can take a swatch and stick it to the wall, but typically most vinyl doesn't like Matte finish....you could always apply a gloss clear or paint to the area where the print will be applied.

We use Oracal 631 for our removable (cut) vinyl home decor line. We always recommend the paint be at least 4-6 weeks old in order to cure. We have noticed that the common denominator for problem installations is 'Benjamin Moore Paint'. We wondered why some were having installation problems, and some were not. We then experienced our own install - a menu on the wall of a Salon. Wow - the vinyl wanted to come off with the premask and it took hours upon hours to play with it. We could get it to lay down, but finally had to ask the store owner if she would like us to continue playing with it (and paying us) or if we could show her and she could do it. We had installed a logo - approx 36 x 23" - premask came off great - logo bubbled up the next day. They have to keep poking it down often.
I don't know what it is, but I think that they make the paint to be scrubbable and it perhaps has a silicone base(?), but vinyl does not want to stick to BM paint. It is a good paint - just not for vinyl.
I am not familiar with Orajet 3651, however.

Cut a mask of your overall design, position it and spray with One Shot UV clear. It will act as a bridge between the surfaces for better adhesion.

Benjamin Moore has had several lines of interior and exterior latex paints with silicon additives for the last few years. I've run into a few surfaces with it and OS paints will even fisheye on it.
The downside of wall murals is that you almost never know what kind of paints are on the walls and these days I bring a scrap piece of vinyl with me when I got to site. A quick test in an inconspicuous spot helps me know whether it's going to work or not.
