After a busy (and exhausting week) of rearranging the shop its back to work again in Yarrow. The electrician arrives this morning, the router tech this afternoon to put the router back into operation after its exciting but uneventful move to the back room of our workshop. My neighbor's little beater forklift proved to be up to the job of lifting the heavy beast (and many other things) into their new home.

The paint and finishing area is now at the front of the shop, showing our nearly completed projects to those who come in the door instead of the messy area that used to be there. The welding and fabrication area is now to the rear as is the parts storage Inbetween a very large clear area is for the larger projects.

During the last week, everything below 8 feet in the shop was cleaned and moved. Above that much of the display was rearranged and tightened up to make room for new signs as they are fabricated. Even the wall of fame sign in area was enlarged to allow our guests from far and wide to sign in when they visit.

Walking into the shop is now a brand new experience! I'm almost now over the short term frustration of absentmindedly walking to where things used to be before realizing they now live somewhere else. Although the tool boxes haven't changed except for their location it will take a while before I get used to them in their new home. We are creatures of habit it seems.

I'm liking the new arrangement, wondering why we talked about it so long before implementing it at last.

This month we celebrate 6 years in our shop and it now feels brand new once again!

Settled again and busy back at real work in Yarrow...

Great to hear.

Must feel good to have that complete.

Hard work pays-off. [Smile]

Peace,

Good to hear that you are organized and ready to go. Polyanna has a new doll house.

How about some photos so that we can see the changes?
