I circled by Monte's shop last week to offer a Pat a hand and say hello. Pat's doing a great job of keeping the shop churning out work. She drives Monte to work but he tires out easily. Still having trouble with speech but has bright eyes and the will to get going.
We discussed his struggle with diabetes. Apparently he didn't have it very well under control. They wanted me to mention "Everyone pay attention to their health".

I called Pat last week to see how my sole brother was progressing. Got the same message Joe.
He's improving slowly and it's going to be a long road, but knowing him, he will make it.
