Nice work Norris.
My 2 cents:
I would put the info thats at the bottom on the top of the page with your gallery sections below, it comes across odd to me. That's just me though.

Buddy,
I enjoyed your site. Mine took 2 years to get my mind around. I did not design it but I did get in the ad agency's business. It was imparative too me that my site read "graphically" like a well thought out sign. My largest suggestion is give the viewers a bit of breathing room, I felt cramped in there.
The home page may not be the place to give them all you got. Draw them in.
Same with the about page. Too much to read.
I was delighted to see we have the same Lord though.
Please visit me at www.saulssigns.com if you'd like to let me have it.
P.S. the Mike Stevens book on Sign layout changed my career. I think you too could benifit from it.

nice works

the about page is crowded and hard to read IMO(bold white on black hurts)
maybe set the font color to grey like the other text and add a little room around the pictures

an obvious link back to the home page from the galleries might be nice too

I like it Buddy! ... though I agree with Mark re the About page - my eyes were doing that thing they do when you get your photo taken with a really bright flash [Smile]
My husband grew up near you and my father in law still lives there, I'll have to look around for your work next time I get down there.

Hey Buddy, perhaps I might drop in sometime.
I have a kid in Wilmington.
We could lunch at Provisions in Southport.

I kinda agree with Sean, Buddy, about the selections at the bottom being at the top. And the type color should be white, so it shows up better.

The site's pretty neat, although I do agree that the "about" page is too busy. It's interesting to read, but most people won't take the time.
