I'm having this weird Corel Issue.
Whenever I try to drag something in Corel
to another spot while I'm designing, It will make multiple copies of that thing for no reason at all.
Did I hit the on button somewhere I was supposed to keep off?
Not sure how to fix this. anyone?

ok, fixed..I don't know how. sorry. Must have been just a bug. I tried re-booting, that didn't work, but then it just started working all by itself.
Weird.

You might have had a key partially stuck on the keyboard. No clue really. Just a guess gone wild. [Smile]

Dawud...I gotta laugh... [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

8 minutes from a "cry for help" until "I got it figured out"? [I Don t Know] [I Don t Know]

THAT has to be some kind of "self help" record??? [Rolling On The Floor]

Dawud...I still spend a few hours a day playing with CorelDraw and I still get annoyed, once in a while, with some of the glitches.

I have the exact same thing happen Dawud and it just has a mind of it's own, like every second day it might start doing it, restart corel sometimes works or reboot the machine But I have had this going on for 8 months or so. maybe I should check for any newer patches for corel X3.

Glad to see that others have it, which means it probably not a virus.

Speaking of Corel bugs, does anyone know if they fixed or improved the bevel functions with the release of X4?

The problem subsided when I bought more RAM. It still happens after I've used the computer a lot, especially after watching videos. Rebooting always fixes it. I proactively reboot every day or two, depending how much I use the computer.

You weren't inadvertently holding down or clicking the right mouse button as you held down the left button while dragging were you?

Pretty obvious question I guess, but you know that when you drag an object and right click it will drop a copy of that object, right?

I have the same problem from time to time. If I reboot it goes away. I have 8 gigs of ram. Maybe it's got something to do with the video. The first time it happened I thought I was having an acid flashback.
