Our friend and sometimes PITA is in the VA Hopsital...went in for some tests, and had a heart attack.

I spoke with him today. More tests on Monday as to severity and what they will do to him.

I spoke to Joe a few days before he went in for his tests, and he was looking forward to going back to the VA. He told me how well they treated him, and they were the best.

I'm so glad he has this attack while in the hospital. They may be all wrong when the find out he's always that way.

I hate those 2 words. Heart attacks have sure made a big difference in my life. I can just imagine the fears that are going through Joe and Hennie's minds right now.

We like to give OP a hard time here in Letterville, but I know he knows we all love him. In a manly way of course. [Smile] Hand in there Joe. If a bad boy like me is still alive and kicking after 16 years and 5 heart attacks, a healthy eating old hippie with a budgie in his Speedo will be up to his old tricks in no time.

If you ask me, this is just a new way to attract vulnerable new wimmen to chat. [Smile]

I love the guy [Smile]

HOME!!!!! finally ill post more tomarrow, need sleep!!!
TUESDAY 12:58 PM.
IAM GOOD GOT SLEEP LAST NITE....my own bed.
i have frequent flyer miles at JACKSON MISS.....))))))))))))))))))))). i walk into the PRE-OP DESK, and its not hi, can i have your last 4 four of your social, please......ITS...... MR PRIBISH, WELCOME BACK, now sit down and BEHAVE!!!!!)))))))))
and it just keeps on in most sections of the hospital i have to go to!!!
peopel are just so good to me.
ok, long story short, i had to be their FRIDAY morn for a HEART CATH. another reason i wanted th go there, is they dont do the cath thru the GROIN area, but its done thur the radial artery in the right wrist.heal time is couple days and right now i have a "band aid" covering the small cut.
during the procedure you are "twilight" druged, and are awake sort of. the doc told me to tell him if i had any pain or discomfort at any time. he asked hoe i felt and i said got a little pain in my chest, and lower jaw......he told the other person there to spray NITRO into my mouth, then asked me if i still had pain, and it was gone.....
this was the HEART ATTACK, changes in the EKG, mild pain for a short 5-7 sec period. but being where i was, it was terminated that quick before it could do any damage. so then they decided i might STILL HAVE a reoccurance with in the next 12-72 hours. so i was admited to ICU for fri evening and monitored, then moved to the heart wing, and they had a portable monitor on me and watched me incase it happened again.
monday morning they took me to the U of MISS research center, they have a 3-d CT scanner. and took a look at my heart anf arteries that way.
i hada serious heart attack in 1988, caused me to stop smoking, and change my lifestyle. i never went to the hospital for it, cause i knew if i did i would been cut open.....so i managed to recoop with a damaged right artery. over the years it has rerouted the blood flow, but not 100%.
NOW they saw i had a 30-40% blockage in the LEFT artery. this was what they was concerned with. doc said he dont STINT till there is 50% or more blockage, so in a few years.....it might have to be done, or with diet, meds and weight loss, i MIGHT... be able to clear some of the blockage AND NOT INCREASE IT.
this is the OPTIMUM OUTCOME.
so iam stll goin, and now knowing the extent of the damage, i will be a little more prone to slwo down.
thank all of ya for your concern and well wishes, IT IS MUCH APPRECIATED!!!! thanks again to all.
