I have a customer that would like "tall paul" font. Is there a way to download it into my sign program "Flexi-sign" and if so how do I go about doing this?
thanks,

Once "Tall Paul" is installed on your system, Flexi will see it. It may require a reboot of Flexi. You can Google "Tall Paul", find it (it's a free font), and download it.
To install a font on your system, use the instructions at any of the following links:
after you download the font Click and drag the font onto your desktop Open Control Panel Click "fonts" to open the folder Then click/drag the font Icon into the font folder Now it's in your system
or..... the way I usually do it.....
Keep the "Fonts" Icon on your desktop.. Then any time you download a font Just click and drag it's icon over to onto the "fonts" icon and release Like David said, your program should find it from there

I have a folder in "My Documents" called "Utilities" along with a directory tree within it. That's where I put all drivers, software patches, saved workspaces, etc. In it, I also have two font folders, one for all the fonts I have from various CDs called "Font Library", and one named "Fonts for Installation" where I drag fonts when I want to install them. Otherwise, my system will be cluttered with many fonts that I won't use any time soon.

That's a good idea.

I toss all my fonts into the Windows font directory. All my programs' preferences are set to read them from there. Ever since the "1000 font limit" from Win98 was resolved in later operating systems, I haven't had a problem with fonts disappearing. 2100 on this thing right now.
I'm also in the habit of copying the whole font directory onto a CD-RW or DVD-RW a couple times a year so the downloads don't get lost if the system acts up or crashes. A lot easier to click and drag them back on compared to trying to remember which ones I got on which free font sites. There's so many out there now with so many different (and sometimes goofy) names, I couldn't if I tried.
