Thanks.

Just load the PDF file onto the server and provide a link for it. The browser will do the rest automatically.

I did that earlier and it didn't work???? Seems to work now.
OK, new question. How do I make the PDF so it can't be printed/edited or saved?
I'm creating the PDF in Corel X3, but I do have Acrobat 8.
Thanks Glenn.

OK, I got the print & edit part. What about no saving option?

If there's an option in the file>properties section, it'll be there, otherwise I didn't think you could put a saving prohibition on a pdf- well not one that's going to stick.
Some people put a right-click-disable-saveas function on pictures, but it can be got around, I don't know of any similar things for a PDF though.

It's interesting the way psychology works. When someone tries to keep me from downloading something with a right-click, it makes me want to figure out how to get it.

Amy,
When you go to "file/publish to pdf" look for the "settings" button and click on it. It will provide you a list of options. Look at the "security" tab. Other programs may provide you with additional options.
As for the "no saving" option, I'm not sure that is available. I'm looking at Acrobat Pro right now and I don't see any such feature.

U place a clear gif over the pdf.. then when they right click to copy it,, the copy the clear gif.
You can lock up pdf's , however there are dozens of unlockers around..

I'm not talking about a right click save option. I'm talking about the "Save a copy" option that is in Acrobat Reader itself.
I am the same way, I'll figure out a way to get something if I want it. But the harder you make it the better.
You have to do what you can to please your customers!!

You could always rasterize the artwork (in Photoshop or whatever) then save it as a PDF instead of a vector PDF.
That way, at least if they steal your PDF they have to do some re-drawing to make it a usable file.
Also a big 'ol watermark across the front can't hurt.

Create the file and make it "Read Only" in Windows Explorer Properties menu.
Acrobat Reader can still save a copy of it, but any alterations cannot be saved.
