Its the quiet before another creative storm in Yarrow... the eve before the sixth Sign Magic Workshop begins.
As we are busy preparing, memories of past workshops come flooding back. So many great folks have visited us in the last year and a half the workshops have been happening here, and each guest has added their own magic to our events.
The current workshop looks to be another great one, a full house, with folks coming from far and wide... a few more from our local region this time. Erik Winkler, one of our longest travelled guests (second only to Henry Barker) is travelling from the Netherlands. We have a number of guests from Manitoba and others from Missouri, Colorado, and Wisconsin. Brian Stoddard (a familiar face here in Letterville) is coming north from Washington State.
Sign Magic VI will hold a few new suprises, and even more hands-on projects than ever before. And as usual we will combine lots of fun with tons of learning.
Its time for more magic in Yarrow...

Good luck with the next one, its a unique experience among a great bunch up there in Yarrow.
The times I have been there it has been extra special, meeting all those great people that have attended.
We are extremely lucky to have such good and generous friends in our industry. I for one am extremely grateful for all the help I have had in making my passion for this develop over the years, and alot due to the connections through this site, its amazing how the world shrinks

Have a great time Mr. Sawatzky. Everytime I think of last year's workshop a smile crosses my face. What a tremendous gathering of talent was there in October.
Keep us informed.

Its quiet again the the shop after an excited group arrived for our Thursday afternoon/evening informal meet and greet. We have another wonderful and enthused group of folks - all eager to learn all they possibly can over the next three days.
We are doing a few last minute chores before we call it a night.... then only one more short sleep before we officially get underway...
We're REALLY excited in Yarrow...

We have another great group this time around! The experience level is probably the greatest we have had yet... ranging from beginner to season pro... and yet all are patient and eager to learn everything we can teach them.
We are laughing constantly and discovering lots... every one!
The level of skills demonstrated on the varoiuys projects os amazing. The hours have been long... everyone is so eager and passionate to learn! What a wonderful time!
A special thanks to JaniS,

What a great group!
We are bouncing back jokes and kind insults like we've known these folks for years.
Once again it's just been a real pleasure shooting the breeze with those that hold common interests.
And as always, Dan and his family are the perfect hosts. Everyone feels very comfortable and right at home.
Thanks for the great time!

This group has kept us flying from the first thing each morning until late each night... eagerly seeking to soak up everything they could possibly learn. It has been a FUN group - as always!
Every workshop has been different and special in its own way and this one is certainly qualifies in every respect. The individual projects are outstandingly creative and clever...
Once again I am so honored to have been a part of the experience. I have learned plenty and had a lot of fun while doing so.
A special thanks to Janis, Donna, Rebecca and Vicki for keeping things running so smoothly behind the scenes while I concentrate on the teaching and sharing. Rebecca also did a WONDERFUL job teaching the painting techniques we share. THANKS!
Sign Magic IV is now in the last day... it goes by in a blur in Yarrow...

Great weekend! - I went to the workshop expecting to learn some techniques I was curious about and came out with that and much more.
The biggest thing I took away was a reminder to get take my dreams further. I sold my biz because I was tired of the administration work and constantly in a loop of finding more ad taking on every lousy project to keep the crew busy.
I am looking forward to working out a unique niche for myself that will satisfy my dream and pay the bills.
Thanks Dan, Janice, Becky, and Donna for a great weekend!
