Looking for anyone that has used this type of product and what you thought of it. I have a request to use it on a hdu sign and I have never used it before. Looking for some recommendations. Also the name of the product if you don't mind posting.

Thanks, TJ

Sorry, TJ, I can't remember the name of the product we used; it's been almost 10 years. We were doing some work for a school gymnasium, and used one of these products to cover some graphics on a painted concrete block wall. It worked fine, and allowed spray paint to be pretty easily cleaned off without damage to the artwork. I was surprised at how well it worked. Wouldn't be surprised that today's products might even work better. It came either in an aerosol can or you could buy it in gallons.

Clearstar coatings makes one, you might want to check that one out. Their other products are good.

The only thing I tryed, and it really works, is 3M's 'GPS' clear vinyl,(graphic protection system). Works on solid flat surfaces and flexfaces, that I've tryed anyways...

Never heard of a reliable 'paintable' equivalent.

[Cool]

wd40 can clean a lot of stuff off readily, when you have to.

Are you asking about a protectant or a graffiti remover?
