Anyone here know of any free or relatively inexpensive ways to drive traffic to your website?

here's my tip in case some of you haven't done this yet.....
I signed up for a google account, and added a few ads on the local business center for free. When I google certain keywords my site comes up in the top 3 but not with other keywords.
I'm still looking to get more traffic abviously, so if anyone has any tips...
Don't hide 'em divide 'em!

you use website optimization techniques.
Much too complicated too describe here but they do work. One of my site went from 5 page to first page using SOE.

It is not all that easy. It is a good reason why we should consult with real web site writers rather than do it ourselves. However, if every one who used this site would form a web site co-op that would be a huge influence on each others ratings.

yeah, I looked into web site optimization. Seemed very complicated (for me anyway). But yeah...
A website co-op, would that be me linking to you and you linking to me etc. etc.?

Search Engine Optimization can seem tough, but it's really about making the content on your website search engine friendly.

These tips are pretty useful:

As far as linking, the more inbound links to your page, the better you will rank in search engines.
