I really don't know why everyone is so excited about 'change'. I need 100 dollar bills, myself.

I hear you Jon.
This is going to be one tight year!

Speak for yourself. As soon as my piece of the $1,000,000,000,000 pork-ridden bailout passes, its gonna be BBQ ribs for everybody!!

yeh . . . but . . . the acronym is kind'a hard to say . . .

ANCAMSAMO

Say THAT fast three times.

However, the rock-man formation is very interesting. And the whole peice seems to be animatedly 'moving'. Cool.

I'm curious as to why this day in particular would be hope for cause of any major change as opposed to any changes that normally, or even abnormally occur over many days . . .
or did you mean 'day' in the larger sense of 'era'? . . .

or what?

Glenn I have the charcoal for the seafood and ribs!
I'll bring the lobsters and Beer...you supply the rest.

Slaves built the White House...slaves were kept in pens within site of the White House for auctioning off...8 American Presidents who have lived in the White House have owned slaves...and today the first black man will be sworn in as President of the United States and will live in that same house...that this story is possible is a proud day for America regardless of one's political affliation.

Day in the sense of era.
The White 'Bush' has burnt itself out.

We in Canada have had 'men and women'
Prime Ministers.
English and French.
Plus others "Native Canadians."
Now it is time for us to sit down and rebuild our part of this planet.
For the future of our children.

Wooohooo! I'm was doing 70 on our beltway. I got to relive the joy of driving today. 4 lanes of open road....it was a great experience.

Thanks to the millions who took the subway to the national mall today.

I'm going out for another drive....it is so cool!

History was truly made today...70 mph, I can't get over it.

And for an instant economic boost I saw on the news that the free inauguration tickets were selling for between $1k-$5k apiece on craigs list for those who were chosen to receive them.

I can only imagine what the taxes are going to be on my favorite hairy fart machine, Moose.

But Si!

Don't you see that we live in a country of peace without guns and war.
We even pick up our recycle items!

But I have to admit Glen!
That cat looks like it is dead!
Put it out with the garbage or into the crockpot!
Ad some Rice and Spice!

Mike I have just GPSed you plate number and sent it off to the state troopers.

I will get a fifty dollar check in return.

Speeding in Nova Scotia even for a first offense, will cost you a thirty day liscense.

Try that one in court!
Plus your car is now impounded.
Hope you have a thumb to hike with.

Surely you jest Stephen, a license suspended for 30 days on speeding?

Posted by Stephen Deveau (Member # 1305) on :

David

No I am not jesting.
Our road rules are very tight.

Plus my wife being in the insurance business for over 38 years will look you in the eyes and start to laugh.
Your rates have now gone up in price!
Your convections can now be applied cross border in North America.

Thanks Gumbie!

I knew you would follow through...Smuck! (Pookie)
What took you so long in the design work?

And Wow!
Did this post go for a flip!
It all started with a comment on a new day in the West or Americas of our planet.

I smiled... [Wink]

Stephen, first off, kudos on taking the high road on this one!

BTW it's 'schmuck.' [Smile]

Todd, your bad is showing...

Hehehe.... Stephen..... this post did a little humorous back-flip because many of us are trying to respect the rules of this forum and aren't expressing our true views of all the hype......

But, if you want my serious response, here you go:

Even if the Big 'O' were Jesus Christ's nephew, he would not be able to 'SAVE THE WORLD' as so many are hoping he'll do... he's just one man in a big government. So there a lot of us who are just hoping he doesn't screw things up worse than they already are.

I predict that it won't take long for the hype to backfire on him..... especially after he spends 40 brazillion tax-payer dollars and the economy continues to sputter.....

BUT, I wish him Good Luck! He's our President and I respect him.... that is, until he messes up the first time... then I'm gonna be on him like a 'crat on a bush.... [Smile]

Amazing how any thread the least bit political takes the average IQ down into the teens.

Well my wife told me that it really doesn't matter what I post
in artwork or topics, I will get blasted out of the sky from both sides.

O-Well thats life!
I'll see you all on the Dark Side of the Moon.

I had to let my office manager go today, he was really messing things up.
But, I interviewed a young prospect who really had a way with words. No experience, but a good talker. So, in honor of the new president, I hired him to run my business.

Don't you just feel the LOVE in this thread?

Posted by Stephen Deveau (Member # 1305) on :

Donna I love the humour of all people on this board.

Sioux.....

I am learning Chinese next.
I believe in all languages.
But you believe in English only.

You have to forgive me if I make a typo error.

Dawud

I feel the need to make this side of 'Mother Earth', different!

It is truly a time for change.
Our children are involved in this!
You are welcomed on my doorstep anyday.

Please do not edit your voice and artwork on my account.
This is how we solve issues.

thanks Stephen, but it's too cold to hang out on your doorstep. Am I at least welcomed in the hallway?

Posted by Stephen Deveau (Member # 1305) on :

All you have to do is knock and I will welcome you and your family.
Coffee/Tea or other brew.

I live in a country of an open arms to others.
But do not be fooled as I have all the hardware I need.
I run with the 'Wild Pack of Dogs'.

Here we go again. That crazy Deveau kid is teasing the dogs again. [Smile] As usual, the same characters are taking the bait. Nobody needs special powers to suspect this one is headed for the trash heap.

I hate deleting posts! No matter how careful I am in the words I use, someone always ends up taking things personal. Who needs the extra stress?

Now lets move on.
