ok, I just moved to Fl. and did a sign on 1/2 coraplas, put it outside thinking it would dry faster by next morning it was all dull no shine. Was this the humidity? or to much turp.? It was bright red 1 shot. And I am hoping all will be ok if I reletter it all back a normal high gloss. Will this work?

Gar-on-tee that dew will flatten 1Shot ...or...any other oil base paint!
A coat of clear or a thin coat of 1Shot will fix it up.
PS.... my cousin Art lives in Dunedin..... nice lil city.

Yes dew can do just that and so could any number of things including cold air and thinning with turps and the list goes on.
Adding either ChromFlo, 1Shot 6000 or Penetrol instead of thinning the paint can add longevity and gloss.

It happened to me last week. I painted a sign in humid wet weather against my better judgment and had to repaint it again the next day. It never dried during the day because of the wetness and overnight it flattened out.

Si is right. It happened to me one time with dew. A coat of sign finishing clear brightened it right back up.

The dew will definitely kill gloss, but more than that, how are you getting 1-Shot to stick to coroplast? Good luck.

Dale, I did a FOR SALE sign for my daughter and just cleaned with de-natured alchol and lettered away. Still on after a year and a half. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Then there is always this one. The poor fool did not know any better, so he did it any way. Just what worked for me.

I think God grants a special grace to the ignorant.
I also think that if I had used 1 shot on coro, rather than re lettering it, I'd wax it to get the sheen back.
