It's fast approaching December 25th and I know we all have our own ways of celebrating (or not) Christmas day but I wanted to take a small moment to say THANKYOU to Steve and Barb for introducing me to a wide and varied group of talented people.
Meeting the Shortreeds at NZ Letterheads 3 years ago was a huge pleasure and I'm sure we shall meet in person again sometime in the future.
Steve & Barb, I really appreciate the hard work and effort you put in to keep this site up and running, thankyou for all of your generosity, kind words and messages.
Merry Christmas to you both and to your family also.
I hope you have a fantastic New Year too

I'll always feel immense gratitude for having stumbled onto this site. As I've mentioned on here in the past, I've really never been a big "club joiner", and certainly never thought I'd get so wrapped up on an internet site as I have.
This site continues to teach me lessons of all kinds.
Steve and Barb are a living example of how two people can make some grand changes in so many lives. They have brought a lot of people together.
Merry Christmas Anne, and Steve and Barb. Merry Christmas Letterville Friends!

This is such a great family here! Just like real families, there are some you look forward to hearing from & love to pieces and some that make you "ponder", but this is always a place I look forward to visiting everyday. Thank you all for your friendships and also, thanks Steve and Barb for being tolerant web hosts! We all love ya!

I totally agree, I am so grateful for this site. The knowledge we recieve is priceless, & so are the friendships. We ARE like a family, aren't we?
Merry Christmas to all of you, & God bless you!

Last night, I clicked on here before going to bed just to see if I missed anything earlier - the site didn't load, so I clicked again and came up empty. I did it several more times and got nothing. It was weird to feel the panic slowly creep in because I was unable to access the BB or any other pages in Letterville. I quickly realized what an empty world it would be for me if this place ceased to exist.
Whew, thank God it came up this morning........

To all the Letterheads around the world, whether on this site or just in the spirit of sharing...Thank you for your knowledge, putting on meets, teaching us new things and different ways to do old things. Every one of you have qualities that are Priceless.
Merry Christmas and happiness to all.

Over the years there have been the type of squabbles found in a family. Faces often re appear, sometimes defining a new profession or direction in life. There are several no longer living (as we describe life). Many of us have met here and have been in each others homes and shops, yet we often live great distances apart. The concept that brought this site to reality has proven to be one of the best gifts anyone ever gave us. Few of us put it in the closet for long....ever. I have no idea how many hours are required to maintain this site, comfort grievances on the sidelines to strive for peace, keep up with the changing technology, or how much it costs to do this without us being bombarded with dominating advertisements. Steve and Barb, thank you for another year of relationship and the benefits thereof. Let me know when it's time for dues again.

My best friends have emerged due to this site. Talking common-shop is WOW. Add the friends aspect and there's just really no accurate description for it.
Thanks, Steve and Barb. Merry Christmas all!

Like Anne, I had the pleasure of meeting Barb & Steve 3 Letterhead meets ago. In fact we had them stay with us and really enjoyed getting to know what made them so special. Like the posters above, finding Letterheads and then Letterville has been something I'm glad to have experienced. Anne I also enjoyed your other post regarding the beauty of this paradise we live in and I also know how Steve fell in love with NZ. So as I enjoy a Christmas dinner/BBQ around the pool I will also be thinking of the white Christmas some of you will be having.

I first met Steve & Barb at Fred's Meet Oklahoma 2003. Also there were many of the friends from Chat and this Bullboad. It started to make a dent in my very lengthy "want to meet in real life' list.
Fortunately, since then via more trips to New Zealand, Canada and USA this list, although growing every year, is now balanced in favour of persons met. Hopefully next year the Diaz Walldog Meet in June and another Kiwi Meet will fill even more gaps.
Better still is hosting fellow Letterheads to stay with us. RT, Steve & Barb, Ann McDonald and many Aussies ... we enjoyed having you. All are most welcome.
Thanks Steve & Barb for the site and friendships it has formed. A wealth of information and entertainment. Like Sonny said "an addiction"!
Merry Xmas to you all.

These videos can be made with any inexpensive webcam. Most come with software that allows you to do a few tricks with the video. This was my first time using YouTube. I found the whole process pretty easy to understand.
Streaming live video and step by steps via video have always interested me. Remember the Head Cam? We were really ahead of the curve on that one. Storage and bandwidth were big challenges back then, but things have changed.
Why not consider creating your own step by step videos? I'd love to see Mark performing some of his tunes. It's fun to be a ham.
