. . . go in your shop and procrastinate?


I left the 'ville a while ago and went into the shop and did something I seem to often do . . .

I just stood there staring at different jobs for several minutes, contemplating the different tasks involved in bringing each job to completion . . .

then I thought some more and decided that none of these individual tasks were worth starting and then having to stop, since Em has a basketball game tonight . . .

so I just walked out and blew everything off for a fresh start in the morning . . .

Ever done that?

Yeah, every day. That's why I'm still working on that "Happy New Millenium" banner. I keep thinking I should call them and see if they still want it... I'll do that first thing in the morning.

I used to have a real problem with procrastination. I was going to go to the procrastinators anonymous meetings but they kept putting them off.

I once thought of renaming my business to..........Someday Signs
with some kind of tagline like,
"we'll get to it someday"
"don't call, we'll call you, Someday"
If I had been a Deer I would have been run over many times by now.
