[Applause] Worth the two to three minute investment to watch the video. Creative way to theatrically look at typestyles; and it all happened at the Font Conference. Enjoy! [Rolling On The Floor]

Letterhead Fonts Unite!

Great presentation Yankee Bob. You must have lots of time on your hands now that you have a real job.

Thanks for the chuckle...oh and thank you for referring to fonts as "TYPESTYLES".

Knowing full well this is all tongue in cheek It is still good to see that people younger than I found this subject worth the time to satirize and poke fun at it.

Bravo...

That was pretty good.
Now, along with Monty, all here vow never to use the word font again. Agreed, typestyle it is.

I'll accept "letterstyles" Dan (as if you needed permission) [Smile]

Just exactly how they were Typestyles one day and fonts the next I'll never really figure...could it have been the one and only collaberative effort between Steve Jobs and Bill Gates?

Probably not likely... but it feels that way to me! [I Don t Know]

Font actually describes the size right!
That was awsome Comic Sans in my favorite letter-style, in a 14 font.

I'm a "Letterstyle" man myself. [Wink]

"Font" is actually the America spelling of the English word "Fount" which is the name for a complete set of letters of a certain size used in typsetting print. [Razz]

Jon,

Americans had to yank all the "U"s out of words such as honour, colour, and fount to have enough on hand to spell U.S.A. as often they'd need to.

Dana

It is called 'Pica', for "Type style" Size.
Not........... Points or Pixels.
