A special thanks to Artie and Linda, Dupont Hot Hues, Kustom Shop, Xcaliber Corp, Donna Colton and the Troublemakers, and everyone else who helped make this weekend a success.
There were 42 "stripers-letterers-artists" who came from England, Canada and all over the US, and worked through the fun and the heat all weekend and raised $48,000 for the McMahon/Ryan House to benefit abused children. The charity received 100% of the proceeds.
Here is a link to some pictures from the event. Hope you have time to enjoy them.

Hey at least The Fonz showed up at Artie's.
He was sick in February for the World of Wheels show.
I wish I'd have known about this, I might have tried to make it.
Since attending a pinstriper's event, I prefer them. They are raw and real and a heckuva good time!
Love....Jill

Bob,
In the picture of you & Tom Kelly, are you sporting a new haircut or just a ponytail? looks like there was some fine talent at this years event. I would love to make it one year. It was easier to make it when he had it in Myrtle Beach, but it wasn't a charity event there just folks hanging out and painting all weekend for the heck of it.

Man you guys are slackin' only 414 pictures? thats only 138 per day average, what? did your camera break or something?

I also want to take the opprotunity here, thank everyone involved, the sponsors, the stripers from around the world, Kernel Weslake the auctioneer, Donna anf the troublemakers, Jeffereys auto body & Matt the bartender at the Embassy Suites lobby bar.
Jill and anyone else thinking of attending, this meet is in its 2nd year and is shaping up to be one of the best annual events, and with a rake in of 48k for a great charity cause, lets hope Artie and right coast cars keep having us back. Artie if you happen to catch this post... you should be a very proud man, this all happened because of you and your enormous heart, you rock! may you be in Heaven an hour before the devil knows your dead.

Thanks to everybody who attended, it was a blast!
Friday was the highest humidity day of the year, but thanks to the Right Coast Guys they rented fans and bought air conditioners to make it more bearable.
We're already working on next year including a AIR CONDITIONED building.

What a great weekend. This was my first pinstriper jam and it was absolutely amazing.
Along with reuniting with some familiar faces, it was a pleasure to meet Tom Kelly, Hot Dog, Manny, Rooster, Lucky Strike, Whitney, Pooch, Neil Melliard and so many other fine folks...and to get totally schooled by Dwayne on "my last cent". [Smile]

Many thanks to "Mr. J", Dupont, Kustom Shop, Right Coast, Jim Reith and the folks at WSYR, and everyone who bid and bought to help the McMahon/Ryan House in their efforts to help neglected and abused children.

Special thanks to Artie & Linda for all the effort putting this event together. You are the best and you can count me in for the next one!

Rapid

If any of you who have looked at the pictures and can identify the people, or who did the panels, please email and we can fill in the blanks.
Please let us know if you noticed any mistaken ids, too.
