The Jeep is done...well kinda...I still have fuel lines to run and some radiator work and wiring...wait a minute I guess i have more to do than I thought ...I better get back to work.
In the mean time hows this for a paint job? I did it in the shop so we've got a little dust to sand out and buff but other than that...

GREAT JOB Monte!!!!!!!
Can't wait to see it when it is totally finished. I remember you showing it to me when you were basically just starting on the body work. HUGE job and you did it right!!!
I still say you and Pat would look proud driving it down to Mexico and running the beaches with the top down!!! Maybe get Pat to design some "Flower Power" stickers to put on it???
Maybe we can convoy down together this fall? I can't wait to head south in our new ride. Top down, grinnin and grinnin.

COOL, I just now from knowing you this thing looks great up close! What color striping?

Monty, I see one major flaw in that Jeep. I't ain't mine! Looks good otherwise. Is that sprayonpick-up truck bed liner on the interior?
Posted by Monte Jumper (Member # 1106) on :
Yep...bed liner inside the "tub" and underside also.
Thanks for all the encouragement...it's been a long haul (10 years to date) gotta do all the "finish" work now... I'm still a month or so out before I can actually drive this critter.

As for colors,,,for a manly look, black and med dark grey. For a fun look,, purple and orange. For the "I luv Colors" look, purple, orange, and some dolled up green, maybe evn add a bit of a lighter yellow to it as well. And then of course there is the question of what style? Classic straight line, with a few accents, Rat rod style, Steve Kafta style, Bob Iverson style, the list goes on.

It looks great Monte, now the tough part is waiting until it is complete before the stripes go on. Bill
