I have recently gotten to know a woman in Delaware who has a 14 yr old son who is severely autistic. My nephew (neice's son) is also autistic. The Autism Society of Delaware is sponsoring a statewide Walkathon on April 26th.

Autism has been in the news a lot lately. 1 out of every 150 kids is affected now and the causes are really still unknown.

I hate to ask people for contributions, especially with things the way they are with the economy right now. I know things are tight but I was hoping the caring people here in Letterville would be willing to donate any amount to help sponsor Jonathon. Of course the money goes to help fund research for all kids with autism.

I have donated a 12'x 5' banner for the event and will be sending some cash also.

I have attached the links to some websites including the link to the sponsorship page where contributions can be made online

Normally I would never ask people to help like this but I sit back and look at my two daughters and realize how blessed I am. I know Cher (Jonathon's mom) and my niece have their hands full with the challenges that raising an autistic child can bring. Doing whatever we can to help would mean a lot to them.

I thank you as I know the parents do.

It can never hurt to ask Bob. Letterville is a very caring place.
Hopefully my small donation will help.

I've been given the privilege recently to help out with a local Autism awareness program. We'll be providing t-shirts and banners to an upcoming event.
