We have a granddaugher. MacKenzie Germaine, born April 1 to our daughter Heidi and her husband Mike. She was 8lbs 2 ozs, 21 inches long.

Grandkids are awsome ...
Your children suddenly realise the responsibilies of having children and thank you for their up-bringing even more.
You get to play and react and then "return to owner" without diaper changes, feeding and sleepless nights. (Unless you get conned into baby sitting in a big way)
Sue has a special thing going for all our Grandkids .... she opened a Bank Savings Account for each when they were born, and deposits all our 50c coins split evenly amoung them into their accounts. Don't sound much, but the oldest grand-daughter looks like getting $1000+ on her 18th Birthday next year.

Thanks Everyone...We are very proud of them,and they are very excited parents. Mackenzie and parents are doing really well, but a bit tired as they have had many visitors...Jill I have a feeling you may be right...and Susan they are just 2 hrs away so not to far. Bill we may need to borrow some spoiling techniques from you hehe...all in all thanks everyone, and no we don't feel any older... Grampa & Gramma Pat and Ruth.
