Well, there I was in my pajamas, kneeling on a kitchen towel, on a frozen bed of snow in the back yard in 12 deg F cold.
I fought the clouds, but got a decent shot.
The photo is a heavy crop, and resampled down. Original looks pretty good.
All in the name of science.
Peace, Bob

Neat! And here I was, trying to get a glimpse of NASA blowing up that defunct spy satellite! I should have looked the other way. Look what I missed! Love....Jill

Awesome Bob,
I grabbed my son out of bed set up the telescope and froze my planets off on the back deck to watch the eclipse. Very cool photograph.

Great pic BOb we couldn't see a thing in the UK due to the overcast and fog.

The path of the shadow is interesting. At my latitude it started at lower left, and the last slice of light was the extreme right. Nice shot.

I wrestled my lab to the beach last night. Only thing I could think of when I got home was a bed. I missed it.

Hey Bob...THAT's a painting waiting to happen. May I have permission to use your photo for a painting reference?
