Our good friend is making some progress. He sat up on the edge of the bed today and tried to eat some jello. The tubes are out and he is breathing on his own.
Still groggy but slowly getting his wits back. Marti is doing well and says she doesn't need anything..

Glad the recovery is going well
Remember being in an abdominal ward in Germany in the 80's no pyjamas just one of those gowns somebody else mentioned, all open at the back, in a ward of 8 people, and after coming around from the op, being told you had to get out of bed sit on a wheel chair thing with a hole in the middle and fart before they'd give you anything to eat....not that even after that I remember hospital food as being any good
That was quite an experience, hope things go smmothly for you from now on, and that your back to your old self again soon.
