I just came across this vinyl cutter and would like to know what it would take to get this thing running. Like certain programs to cut
vinyl. I am a Mac user and I am willing to use a PC if necessary.
Thank you. [I Don t Know]

What he means to say is he just bought a CE3000 Graphtec. John called me today and asked my opinion I told him to ask you guyz. What he needs is some software to run it.. He got the cutter, all cables and a Quick Cut cd. Now all he needs is a sign program. He is currently a Mac user but willing to get a pc if need be.. So there you go John now we are even for the Husky decals!LOL

If you got the cut/plot software with it, you can run it out of Corel Draw.

If you are using Illustrator, you can get Fine Cut 6 for Mac, I think that'll work with Graphtec.. not sure. If not, Flexi is a very nice cutting tool, Ver. 7.5 runs in OSX and works on many different cutters. You can import Illustrator or Freehand files. Even install Corel 11 for Mac and use that.

John,
You gotta go with flexisign, it will be the
best for all the uses that your style of art.
I have been using Vinyl Master, from GBC sign
warehouse, for years (a private label from the
flexi brands)and have great success with it.
Call them tell em' to give you the CrazyJack,
discount and ask for John Gripp.
