Whether we work from home or have a retail space, everybody has a "snack stash" Yes, even the health nuts have something they keep in the drawer to save them from certain starvation while working.
Mine: I always keep those pretzel bites stuffed with peanut butter, (Sam's has em). They are great with Coffee or Diet Coke. Just a handful a day. Sometimes none at all, but hey, it's my stash.
What's in yours?

Beef jerky and/or pistasios. I just found out that the nuts help build your immune system too.

A refrigerator full of meals prepared in advance.
I don't fool with snacks, I eat a solid meal of about 400 calories every 2.5-3 hours. Usually some lean meat, lots of veggies, and a little healthy fat (nuts or olive oil/dressing).

I always have a few packets of a meal replacement powder and a tub of whey protein powder handy. I'm like Mike P. and eat every 2.5-3 hours, so a 50 gram protein shake thrown in a cup with water hits the spot when I don't have time for a solid meal.

We have a snack box that we can purchase from, it has biscuits, potato chips, chocolates, sweets and snack bars. We also have cans of cold drink. It's an awful temptation but I manage to stay away from it!!

Gum, gum, gum, gum, diet coke, gum, gum, gum, coffee, hershey kisses from x-mas, melted gummy bears from this summer, gum, gum, tea, gum, gum, gum, gum...
My tongue gets sore from all that gum....(sounds like it could be a song...)
I actually eat healthy meals, it's the snacks for "designing brain power"!!!!

Fresh baked platz from the local deli.
Bananas, cantelope and honeydew with strawberry yogurt.
Cold cold cold cold water!
Cody's is homemade chocolate milkshakes, and a coke or Gatorade when visiting Dan's.

That last post was, like most things, only part of the story. A customer gave me a very nice bottle of Labrot & Graham "Woodford Reserve" for Christmas, bless her heart.
At the moment I have an iron pan on the coal stove in the back room, and I'm roastng some chestnuts. Love the smell. In the fridge there's a couple of raw eggs, but those are for making egg size for gilding. No beer right now; we went on a health kick and are taking a break from alcohol until St. Patricks Day. Mostly a weight-loss thing, and making a habit of finding other ways to handle stress, instead of having two or three drinks after work.

Hold on there Cam, don't be so rash. There are many studies (looking for them now) on the benefits of your previous regimen.
All I have now is water and chex mix and it says on the bag 50% less fat than potato chips. So there.
