SO over the Christmas break, a friend of mine let me borrow a documentary call "Helvetica." If was actually really interesting, and gave a lot of background and history. Whether you love Helvetica or hate it, I recommend checking it out.

That played here locally one night only at the "independent" theater. I was bummed that I missed. Glad to know its out on DVD.

I also enjoyed seeing that one. It covered the spectrum of those thinking it brilliant and perfect to those thinking it served its purpose, but real type all stems from the hand written. I don't think it to be a film I want to watch again every Christmas, but glad I saw it.

I didn't get to see that one. But I did go with my friends, COOPER and MURRAY HILL to BROADWAY to see an AVANT GARDE film featuring EUROSTYLE characters. We stopped in the lobby and got a SOUVENIR, which made quite an IMPACT on us all.
