Wayne

I've been wonderin the same Question. I've called him a half dozen times, emails and IM's but he hasn't responded to one. We were suppose to go canoeing but now I have no idea what is going on. Maybe we can get Luke Scanlon to go down and check on him or Rob Rucker. I would but a drive down to Florida isn't in the budget right now!

Thanks Roger,
I tried to call him several times last night but the line was always busy.

Hi, it's me,and I'm still alive. Sorry to have been scarce...I didn't mean to alarm anyone.

As some of you know, I was seriously thinking about going to Karen's meet, when I had a stupid accident. I was cooking bacon and I took the frying pan off the stove and set it on the counter, and as I was turning around I must have bumped the handle. At any rate, the pan flipped off the counter and landed on my left foot, and I was without shoes at the time. All the hot grease burned the crap out of my left foot. I've been to the VA 4 times, and I can say it's healing slowly but surely. It has limited my activities dramatically.

My computer was down for awhile, so that's why I may have missed some emails. I was kinda stingy with my money until I could get back to work 100%, but it's fixed now.

Roger...we can still do the canoe trip after about another week or two..we have alot of nice days in Fla in the winter.

Wayne,I got that great cd you sent. Thanks so much !

Thank you everyone who's been asking about me. Hope to see lot's of folks in Melbourne in Feb !

Glad to know you're OK, Jeff.
That hot grease is bad stuff. Got second degree burns on my right arm that way. Took awhile to heal. I know that bacon smells good but.....try not to be in such a hurry next time! [Smile]

Jeff,
I know what its like to burn the top of your foot. It hurts!!!! There are a couple of things that will help heal the burn fast.

Melaluca Oil heals unbelievably. I didn't know that melaluca trees grew in Florida until I visited a friend on ST. Pete Beach and she had a tree growing in her yard.

The other thing that heals greatly is Vitamin E. Poke a hole in a capsule and squirt it on.

I had a horse recently gash her face right to the bone. I put the melaluca on 2 or 3 times in a week. I was so amazed at the difference in a week that I took pictures to send into the company.

Take care.

There you go...

Laura, did you know, that you were the first actual Letterhead I ever met? It was at the airport in the frozen country...Remember the great woodgrain demonstration ?

Mike Meyers, is responsible, for opening my mind.

That's the reason I am still willing to travel so far, to see someone I never met before.

Hugs and etc...Jethro

Hey Jeff,

Sorry to hear of your spill down there...hope it heals up fast.

I'm also hoping you and I can be at the same meet sometime in the near future?

I've been known to travel several miles to hang out with people I've never met before too.....

Don't forget that Aloe Vera is wonderful for burns too. Another name for Melaleuca is Tea Tree Oil...just in case you can't find it on the store shelf. Glad you are ok, Jeff. Fried bacon is good- fried Jeff Ogden may not be so good. Hope to see you in Melbourne.

Hi ya Jeff,
Burns are no fun! I burnt my arm on a vacuum motor I was cleaning two months ago. It was hotter than I expected since it was my brother's and it gets a bit hotter than most.

You can get melaleuca oil or melagel from the melaleuca.com or a local rep; just look in your phone book.
It works for me better than aloe or vita e, but all are wonderful. It heals three times faster than neosporin and has antiseptic as well as healing properties. I am extremely fond of the melaleuca company, but tea tree oil is what they make it out of and I trust the health food stores' quality of product more than anywhere.
Feel better! Nice to know you're okay.

The stuff I've been using is called "Silverdene" by all the Drs.. But in reality it is called Silver-sulfa=diazinine.

It is amazing stuff. It has prevented infection, and has done alot to help this burn to heal, in a relatively short amoumt of time. I highly recommend it, if any of you-all ever get burnt.

Hopefully that won't happen/.. burns, that is.

Hey Jeff, glad to hear you are doing better. Was starting to get a litle concerned about you not replying.

Heal up, and with any luck, I'll see you in Melbourne.

I too like to travel long distances to hang out with people I've never met, but I also like to travel long distances to hang out with good friends.
