We talked to Don on Saturday and wished him a great day. We headed up to Chicago and visited our newest addition to the family, Andrew Joseph Diaz, who was born October 6th, exactly one week before his grandpa's birthday. I held the baby and tried to fuss over Alexander (who is 2 and not exactly sure he WANTS this new intruder taking so much of daddy & mommy's time!) Bill and Bill Jr. embarked on a project in the basement with saw and air nail gun blazing and put up baseboard through out the basement. They are turning a room into a family room and Billy needed his dad to come to the rescue! We relaxed a bit after the kids went to bed and visited a bit, but all in all, a pretty busy weekend! Early HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Hope you have a goodn. and really hope you get the balls for your birthday. It would be great to have you again. you know you can sleep in my yard anytime. We now have 2 spare bedrooms, so Barb could sleep in the house.
I have had the pleasure of celebrating one of my birthdays with the Mayor and the First Lady, and I would love to do it again. I have also enjoyed a couple of birthdays with Mr Bill and his lovely wife Jane. Hope to do that again as well.
This particular one was not one of the best I've had(probably cause none of you were there), but I did check the paper and my name was not in the obits, so it was a good day. This was the first time I have worked on my birthday in 20 years, and it was a Saturday.
